Chlorophacinone

Chlorophacinone, like Diphacinone, is a first generation (multiple feed) anticoagulant rodenticide. It has not been effected by the EPA Mitigation Ruling for rodenticide packaging and use of bait stations. Both Diphacinone and Chlorphacinone are of the Indandione chemical class. It is required by a rodent to eat multiple doses of bait over several days to receive a toxic dosage.

How Chlorophacione Works

As an anticoagulant, chlorophacinone causes internal bleeding by reducing the ability of blood clotting.
