The Catchmaster BDS recreates the conditions that bedbugs consider perfect including dark, tight tunneling areas and rough woodsy material. Each monitor has an adhesive backing which allows you to mount the trap on almost any surface, such as the back of a picture frame.

The Catchmaster BDS recreates the conditions that bedbugs consider perfect including dark, tight tunneling areas and rough woodsy material. Bed bugs would usually be found: inside the small grooves of corrugated boxes, between mattress creases and aound/under wooden furniture

The BDS bed bug monitor has no blood meal lure, but provides a "safe" harborage site for bed bugs if they are present. These passive bed bug monitors come pre-scored to fold in half. Catchmaster BDS trap recreates these favorable conditions using a unique patented adhesive pattern that is coated on a coarse cardboard surface that bed bugs prefer. The combination offers bedbugs an ideal place to hide. Once bed bugs enter a BDS trap, they get stuck on the glue adhesive inside. BDS monitors can provide an early detection of bed bug presence if placed in strategic locations such as headboards, nightstand drawers, seams of carpets, dresser drawers and other hiding places. They need to replaced every three months and checked regularly. BDS should be utilized in hotels, multiple-unit dwellings/apartment complexes, offices, schools - anywhere people gather - as the first line of defense against bedbugs.

Please note that the Catchmaster BDS should be used along with other treatment methods and cannot be used as 100% proof that a room is bed bug free.

For Use :	Where to place Catchmaster BDS: Catchmaster BDS can be placed behind headboards, on bedposts and and along bed frames, between the mattress and boxspring, in vents, behind wall hangings (such as the backs of picture frames), between or under couch cushions, under furniture stands, on the backs of drawers in nightstands, etc. The recommended protocol for monitoring bedbug activity in a typical room consists of strategically placing a minimum of 6-12 BDS monitors in and around areas that people frequent such as beds, couches, upholstered furniture, and other key areas. A diagram depicts prime travel and aggregate sites. These sites provide likely harborage areas that bedbugs seek out.
