Bifen IT Works For:

Bifen IT works to control insect pests and mites indoors, in interiors capes and outdoors on ornamentals and lawns in landscaped areas around residential , institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields.

Bifen IT is safe towards non-target animals such as birds, reptiles and mammals.

For indoors and outdoors:

Bifen IT can last up to 6 months outside. Bifen IT is very effective on Japanese Beetles, clover mites ants, fleas(outside), ticks, spiders , scorpions, roaches,millipedes, earwigs,army worms, mealy bugs, mites, grasshoppers, pill bugs, cutworms, sod webworms, weevils,leaf miners, box elder bugs, bees , wasps, sow bugs, crickets, and turf and ornamental pests.

RECOMMENDED MEASURES OF CONTROL WITH BIFEN IT

MOLE CRICKETS

Mole cricket nymphs are wingless but look like small adults. The nymphs can become very numerous and cause great damage to your grass during the warm summer months. Control methods aimed at eliminating mole cricket nymphs yield the best results, simply because they easier to kill than adults.

Treatments for mole crickets usually include a thorough treatment of the infested area with a residual insecticide such as Biten IT Residual Insecticide or Bifen Granules

Mole cricket treatment should be timed to kill immature (nymphs) which do the most damage to turf grasses.
In the Southern coastal states treat with Talstar during the latter end of April or beginning of May.

In the Carolina coastal area toward the end of May is a good time for Talstar P Insecticide application.

It would be more advantageous to treat the immature stages rather than the adult stages with Talstar P Insecticide.

You will want to treat with Talstar P the younger stages that do the damage to the turf, so timing is critical when applying Talstar insecticide.
