TALSTAR P INSECTICIDE

Talstar P is a multi-insecticide.

It has the proven performance and protection of its active ingredient, bifenthrin; long residual control over termites and 75 other pests; and a broad label that includes termite treatment indoor and outdoor pest control, turf and ornamental applications, and now treatment in food-handling areas.

Talstar PActive Ingredient:

Bifenthrin- 7.9% synthetic pyrethroids; odorless, much less toxic than Dursban, Malathion, Diazinon, and Talstar Insecticide lasts longer than these chemicals.

Talstar P is a micro encapsulated product that does not break down easily with rain once it bonds to the surface .

Talstar P is a clear substance, leaving no stain on painted surfaces.

Talstar P Works For::

Talstar Insecticide works to control insect pests and mites indoors, in interiors capes and outdoors on ornamentals and lawns in landscaped areas around residential , institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields.

Talstar P is safe towards non-target animals such as birds, reptiles and mammals.

RECOMMENDED MEASURES OF CONTROL WITH TALSTAR P INSECTICIDE:

MOLE CRICKETS

Mole cricket nymphs are wingless but look like small adults. The nymphs can become very numerous and cause great damage to your grass during the warm summer months. Control methods aimed at eliminating mole cricket nymphs yield the best results, simply because they easier to kill than adults.

Treatments for mole crickets usually include a thorough treatment of the infested area with a residual insecticide such as Talstar P Residual Insecticide or Talstar Granules/ Bifen Granules

Mole cricket treatment should be timed to kill immature (nymphs) which do the most damage to turf grasses.
In the Southern coastal states treat with Talstar during the latter end of April or beginning of May.

In the Carolina coastal area toward the end of May is a good time for Talstar P Insecticide application.

It would be more advantageous to treat the immature stages rather than the adult stages with Talstar P Insecticide.

You will want to treat with Talstar P the younger stages that do the damage to the turf, so timing is critical when applying Talstar insecticide.
