Contrac is an bromadiolone rodenticide, known for its high bait acceptance with rodents. Contrac is a single feed bait that would work well for either severe or moderate rodent infestations.
These Contrac Pellets are in easy to use place pacs (pre-measured polyglassine place pacs). These pacs hold up well in moist conditions and keep the bait fresh.
One of the top advantages of place pacs is that they can be used in hard to reach areas.

Contrac and Bait Aversion or Bait Shyness
Because Contrac is a single feed bait (one feeding for a lethal dose), bait shyness rarely occurs. The rodent dies just a few days after eating Contrac Pellets.
Bromadilone
The antidote for Bromadilone is Vitamin K1, and is readily available from you local vet. However to avoid all accidental consumption of Contrac Pellets, use Tamper resistant bait stations, designed to hold the bait, but keep children and pets out.

Fence and perimeter baiting beyond 100 feet from a structure is prohibited. This product must not be applied directly to food or feed crops.  Burrow baiting with Contrac Rodenticide Place Pacs is prohibited. Do not place near or inside ventilation duct openings. Do not contaminate water, food, feedstuffs, food or feed handling equipment, or milk or meat handling equipment or surfaces that come into direct contact with food. When used in USDA-inspected facilities, this product must be applied in tamper-resistant bait stations. Do not broadcast bait. Do not use this product in sewers. |

| Application | Inspection is important in any rodent control program in order to determine the bait placements. For Rats: Use 2-10 Contrac Place Pacs about 15-30 feet apart for each placement in areas of rodent infestations. Continue to replenish the supply of fresh bait for 10 days or until the rat activity has stopped. For Mice: Use 1 Contrac Place Pac about 8-12 feet apart for each placement in areas of mice infestations. Continue to replenish the supply of fresh bait for 15 days or until the mouse activity has ceased. |
