Does the job but could be improved
It is made in the USA or Assembled?? Either way it's made out of plastic but with proper care it hasn't broken in the short time I have owned it. I used it with Dipel powder
Pros.
1 It throws a very light mist of dust unlike the clumps from an old Hudson pump sprayer.
2 With the deflector attachment it directs the powder at any angle.
Cons.
1 It's biggest design flaw is it will leak powder from the tube attachment area! I fixed this with some well placed foam rubber and duct tape.
2 It is made out of plastic and it doesn't feel very sturdy, But it just needs TLC to stay it intact.

Overall I am quite happy with the unit and it's performance.

Works good, could use some further developement
Item works well for a basic duster. I feel that an additional arm brace such as the one on spreaders would be a big help when using for extended periods of time. Arm get really exhausted after a long period of time over large areas. Also this item should include various filter screens in the bottom of the canister so as to allow for better distribution of various powders and dusts. Different products have different densities and therefore flow differently with this duster.

Works better than expected!
Using with Diatomaceous Earth for ants and garden pests, works perfect! Very fine powder and spreads it evenly and in the power form - not in clumps. Used it on the exterior of the house and the fence line for ants. Dusted the trees for the ants, and the strawberries with the up-scoop, and the Aphids are history. So are all the ants (NO POISONS) - love this duster!

Good but needs improvement
I've not had this device long but my immediate criticism is that the loading chamber below the dust bin is open at several points and hence it drops powdered poison all over. I've stuffed pieces of paper towels in the crevices until I decide on a better fix.

Nice unit
I've borrowed a buddy's mizer all summer and finally ordered my own. Nice little unit, no batteries required, just you're arms. Keep it out of high humidity areas otherwise the diatomaceous earth (or whatever dusting agent you're using) can get moist and clump.

Works Really Good
This duster works great for DE Earth. Assembly was easy and it puts out a nice fine cloud of dust at any angle you like. I would have givin it 5 stars if you could have put the crank handle on the left for leftys.

excellent
I've had one of these for years. It's the best for dusting. The end shute allows you dust under, over and on the sides. It's very good and doesn't waste anything. I use it to dust diatamcaceous earth around the outside of the house and it keeps the stink bugs away.

This thing rocks.
This thing rocks. Old school and seems well made. Great for dusting under plants as funnel on end is adjustable. Bring on the bugs....I'm ready
