Once the Essentria G Granular is spread through out the lawn it will slowly go deep into the soil and kill the pest that come into contact. Essentria G works the best when it is watered on or after it has rained.

What is Octopamine Blocker Technology ?

Octopamine is the insect's equivalent to adrenaline, regulating there nervous system. The plant oils in the Essentria line block these octopamine receptors, causing a disruption in the insect's nervous system.

Why is Essentria G Granules safe ?

Birds, fish, pets and people do not have octopamine receptors so they are not affected by this mode of action. This offers a wide range of safety even with proven rapid kill of insects.

Is Essentria G effective against insects ?

As with the other Essentria line of products, Essentria G has the same knock down as other comparable insect control products that are man made, not natural.

Application	FOR EXTERIOR PERIMETER TREATMENTS: Apply uniformly to ground area 5 to 10 feet wide around and adjacent to structure. Apply 2 to 5 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. (rates depend on severity of infestation). Repeat as necessary. FOR ANT MOUNDS/NESTS: Sprinkle 1 to 2 teaspoons over the nest. For red imported fire ant mounds, use up to 1/2 cup (8 tablespoons) over each mound and up to 2 feet around each mound. FOR TURF/LANDSCAPE TREATMENTS: Apply at a rate of 3-5 pounds per 1000 square feet. For best results, water grass with 1/8 to 1/4 inch of water but stop watering before puddling occurs. Repeat as necessary.
