Maxforce FC Fire Ant Bait is meant for the worker ants to carry the product back to the colony and feed it to the other ants. Its delayed-action kill ensures that the fire ant bait is spread throughout the colony before it takes effect.

Good Product
Have been using product for many years with favorable results. The price continues to escalate and now, I suppose, to control cost the product only comes in a 10# bag. I prefer the plastic container for ease of use and storage. Regardless, the product works well if used as directed.

great product
I fought a fire ant active mound next to my house for 40 years. I treated it with Max Force and have not had a return of an ant mound since. Also had a very large active mound for the same number of years near the driveway. Tried everything on the market. Now it is gone. I followed the application instructions to the letter.

Typical Results
My yard is plagued by fire ants especially after a rain. I have fought the problem for years with every product in the garden stores. I had hoped this product would be more effective. At this price I will keep looking.

DIY response: Sorry you had a problem. One thing I tell people is to put the bait around not on the mound. Also, the best time to bait ants is when the weather is nice.
