Nuvan Prostrips from Amvac Chemical Corp. provide pest management professionals with an effective tool to kill flies, moths, mosquitoes, gnats, cockroaches, silverfish, spiders, beetles, earwigs and other insect pests infesting enclosed industrial, commercial and residential areas. Providing up to four months of control, Nuvan Nuvan Prostrips use controlled release technology to slowly diffuse a deep penetrating vapor in enclosed spaces. Containing dichlorvos (DDVP), Nuvan Prostrips go to work immediately with a clean, odorless vapor that leaves no messy residue.
Nuvan ProStrips for Bed Bugs:
Nuvan Prostrips are being used for bed bugs in a number of different situations. One use of the product is to take any infested equipment, radios, bags, books or other household items and place them in a large trash bag. Put one Nuvan Strip in the bag and leave the items enclosed for about 3 days.
NUVAN PROSTRIPS utilize controlled release technology to slowly diffuse a deep penetrating vapor in enclosed spaces for up to 4 months. The clean, odorless vapor is evenly distributed throughout the enclosed treatment area, killing visible and hidden insects on contact and preventing new insect infestations (while you’re away). Each Nuvan Prostrip is supplied with a convenient plastic cage that may be placed or hung in enclosed areas. Each pack of Nuvan Prostrips comes with 12 x 16 gram strips. Each strip treats about 100 to 200 cubic feet of space for 4 months. Only use one strip per 100-200 cubic foot of enclosed area.
Nuvan Prostrips are easy to use. Simply remove from sealed bag and hang in desired location away from windows and out of reach of children and pets.

Mode of Action:
The active ingredient in NUVAN PROSTRIPS is DDVP which is a cholinesterase inhibitor that acts on the insect's nervous system. Insects that are exposed to vapors from NUVAN PROSTRIPS are destroyed.
Where/When to use:
NUVAN PROSTRIPS may be placed in many areas where flying insects are a nuisance. Each strip is designed to be effective for up to four months. NUVAN PROSTRIPS may be placed within the cage provided and hung or placed within the area being treated. NUVAN PROSTRIPS may be placed in many areas including; attics, cabinets, closets, basements, storage sheds, crawl spaces, pantries, pump houses, utility boxes, garbage dumpster areas, trash cans, compactor rooms, vacation homes, hunting cabins, recreational vehicles, boats, motor homes and other areas.
