Details

Temprid SC Insecticide has a combination of two powerful residual insecticide chemicals, beta-cyfluthrin 10.5% and imidacloprid 10.5 %. The dual action(modes of killing)  works very well on pests like ants, making it one of the best ant control products on the market(excludes Pharoah Ants). Temprid SC may be used inside or outside. Temprid SC is an extremely effective product spayed around the foundation of your home as a barrier against many pests. Spray about 3 ft. up the side of the house, and about 3-5 ft. out from the structure from the base of the foundation (spraying directly on the ground)

Temprid SC also provides a long-lasting residual, controlling resistant bed bugs for more than 30 days, even on surfaces where many other products have failed, according to Bayer. In addition, Temprid kills bed bug eggs when applied as a direct treatment and, more surprisingly, dried residues prevent eggs from hatching.

Temprid SC provides a quick knockdown and long residual control of more than 50 pests including Ants(excludes Pharoah Ants), Bed Bugs , Beetles, Crickets, Fleas, Fruit Flies, Millipedes, Mosquitoes, Roaches, Silverfish, Spiders(excludes Brown Recluse), Ticks, Wasps, Yellow Jackets and many more (please refer to label for full list).

Temprid SC's Advantages:

    • Two modes of action Contact activity & systemic action
    • Quick knockdown & residual control
    • Low odor
    • Non-staining
    • No phytotoxicity on a wide range of ornamentals
    • Delivers unsurpassed ant control
      - also eliminates aphids, scale and mealy bugs that produce honeydew, a preferred food source of many ant species
    • Flexible label
      - can be applied outdoors and indoors

To demonstrate the effectiveness of Temprid, Bayer researchers conducted a variety of field trials for residential perimeter pest control service across the United States. One specific trial was designed to gauge whether using Temprid to control major ant species impacts the frequency of callbacks. "We measured Temprid against the industry's leading ant control product in more than 2,000 accounts across nine states, and we were thrilled with the results," says Dr. Byron Reid, product development manager at Bayer. "PMPs (Pest Management Professionals)who used Temprid on their residential routes found greater than 60 percent less call backs than those treated with the leading ant control product."

Another field trial with PMPs specifically compared Temprid's efficacy in spider control against the leading micro encapsulated pyrethroid in more than 600 residential accounts. "Over a 3-month period, there wasn't a single callback for spider control following one application of Temprid," remarks Reid. "At the same time, the competitor's product produced almost 9 percent callbacks, and some accounts had to be treated a third time to satisfy the customer."

Bed Bug Control

Controls bed bug populations that are resistant to pyrethroid insecticides.
Use Rate: 0.075% - 0.27 fl oz (8 milliliters) of Temprid SC per gal of water

Spray bugs and eggs directly wherever possible following.

For infested mattresses, remove linens and wash before reuse. Apply to tufts, seams, folds, and edges until moist. Allow to dry before remaking bed.

Apply to bedsprings, box springs, and the interior of bed frames or headboards, including all cracks and joints.

When bed bugs are found in upholstered furniture, apply only to the infested tufts, seams, folds and edges, but do not apply to flat surfaces where prolonged human contact will occur. If bugs heavily infest furniture (inside cushions and/or batting) apply a labeled insecticide dust or consider fumigation.

Apply as a crack and crevice treatment to all baseboards, moldings, beneath floor coverings and carpets, closets, shelves, curtains, furniture and picture frames that may provide harborage to bed bugs.

Re-apply every 7 to 10 days, as needed, until infestation is eliminated.

Restrictions:
Do not spray bed linens or other materials which come in direct contact with occupants of the bed.
