Kills even stubborn mites
Abamectin stopped a severe mite infestation that affected my peppers, tomatillos, apple tree, and dogwood. They were either cyclamen or broad mites, feeding on new growth, but too small to see. A 3-in-1 spray from the hardware store marketed for mite control had no effect. It came premixed with imidacloprid and a fungicide, which I didn't really need. After several applications of Abamectin on new growth for the past few weeks, the new growth is finally thriving.

The product is a great value. I use a milliliter graduated cylinder that came with a soil test kit for mixing in a 1 gallon milk jug. Then I pour it into a hand-sprayer for application.

Seems to be doing the job and will save me lots of $$ in the long run
We have a large number of bushes around the house. Mites of one sort or another have plagued us since we moved in. Buying the stuff from the local hardware stores seemed to work but I had to reapply several times per year each year. Typically 2-3 bottles would be necessary for each application. That cost really adds up. I finally came to my senses, did some reading and checked out this site.

This product really seemed to get the job done. I applied it for the first time about 2 weeks ago and so far no mites. That is great compared to the products I was using before. I may not even have to reapply it this year ... we will see.

The other great part for me is the price. While $100 up front is a lot, this product is so concentrated it will last me well over a decade I suspect. I would have spent that much in 2-3 years doing it the way I was before easily. This saves me from making all those trips to the hardware store, too. Also, the lawn company wanted far more than that for 1 year of treatment.

I did the math for the 2 gallon sprayer I use. Depending on the mite being treated, add either 2.4 mL or 4.8 mL of product to two gallons of water. I recommend finding a syringe used to measure medication doses, it makes it really easy to make the correct measurements.
