Double strength patience pays off
Had some Chinese Trumpet Lantern bushes around my back yard and other invasive garbage vegetation/weeds. Mixed Triclopyr 4 with Alligare 90 and sprayed the whole gallon, actually; 2 gallons at double strength according to directions. Results for the mix was slow, but once it kicks in there's zero doubt in your mind as to how well it works. This mix also took a FL thunderstorm with heavy rain during processing time. No, it doesn't spread with the rain. Takes about 2 weeks to see results. You will be impressed, I guarantee it. Also probably a great tree killer. Fill up a dishsoap bottle, drill multiple holes (deep) in the tree, give it a healthy dose (maybe repeatedly). It'll work. This stuff is more than strong enough. Round Up can go suck an egg.

Good Tool
I paint this full strength around the cambium layer on fresh cut stumps of aspen and locust. Will try on blackberries.

Excellent Scrub Oak Sucker Control
We have "Gambel Oak" or "Scrub Oak" a woody brush plant in certain Colorado elevations. It is persistent in pushing up suckers, especially after you trim it back. Alligare Triclopyr 4 at the rate of one-half ounce per gallon of water, along with about 2 ounces of your favorite surfactant per gallon, applied with a backpack sprayer, will absolutely kill the suckers. Doesn't hurt the grass or landscaped area. Tried one ounce per gallon first, but it burned the grass. The magic formula is one-half ounce per gallon, spray to wet, not spray to run off. Enjoy!
