Application

Depending on our much water is near your house, place out 4-8 traps per acre. Mosquitoes breed in standing water such as swamps and wet areas.

  • Fill jar 1.2 full of water (non-chlorinated).
  • Open bait packet, and without touching the bait, poiur it into the water.
  • Add 2 drops dish soap to break the water surface tension and help drown the mosquitoes.
  • Set trap 2-4 feet off the ground in partially shaded areas.
  • Place traps at least 10-20 feet apart.
  • Place traps near permanent water sources such as ponds, swampy areas or other places where mosquitoes may lay eggs.
  • Remove any other sources of standing water, such as old tires, containers and blocked gutters and make sure ditches and drains are clear and flowing.
  • Make sure that there is always at least 1 cup of water in the traps at all times.
  • Leave out traps all season long.
Retreatment After 5-6 weeks, replace lure and water in the traps
