Glad I found this! It really does work!!!
Being over run by ground squirrels and not enough time to sit and blast them with my pellet gun, although it is fun! I went on the search for some sort of deadly bait. I've tried Just One Bite and the stuff works great but, you have to watch for hole they go into and send a piece down there, so the other wildlife can't get a hold of it. The stuff works, just works too good and really expensive! Now, the reviews for Ditrac Ground Squirrel Bait got me to give it a try. This stuff is awesome! I built some boxes with small holes on each end and poured the pellets in the middle. The first 2 weeks I had to fill my boxes every 2-3 days. the third week there was noticeably fewer ground squirrels. After a month and only checking my boxes once a week, I haven't seen a ground squirrel anywhere! This stuff really works and my desert plants and trees are looking better than ever. Try it, give it time and you'll see great results! Best thing is, there aren't anymore more holes in my yard!

great product for dealing with squirrel problem
This works! We were absolutely overrun with squirrels on 8 acres and doing a ton of damage under our workshop and in the vineyard. Seemed like nothing could even begin to control them, until we found Ditrac. The squirrels love this stuff and keep coming back for more. Before you know it, they are gone. Also, they die underground which is a plus.

It works
This is my first year of growing a "real" garden. I added over 2 cubic yards of compost, cow manure and worm casting. It really paid off because my plants have over grown my garden. I started seeing major squirrel damage every day. I tried everything I could find online and spent money on several products without any reduction in the daily damage. When I first found this type of poison online, the price was very high for just a few pounds. A lot of searching found this site and this product. Within 10 days, all damage stopped and we no long saw squirrels in a one block area around our home. It has only taken about 5 pounds to clear them out so I have plenty for the next few years. I strongly recommend this product and this web site.

Ground Squirrel Problem
This product is so much cheaper than their competitors' and it disappears rapidly so I have to believe the squirrels like the taste. Initially I was opposed to using poisons out of concerns of it affecting other wildlife and feral cats. Over the past two months though I have had zero issues and I'm assuming they go back to their holes and die. I have yet to see a carcass while the population has declined. I also have an expensive Rodenator but the novelty of blowing things up wears off quickly and ironically doesn't seem to make much impact. Also, just in case I keep a bottle of vitamin K handy in case a feral cat or pet ever appears to have fed on a poisoned squirrel.
