EcoVia WH Stinging Insect Killer

EcoVia WH Stinging Insect Killer is a 16 oz foaming jet spray, which will reach up to 18 feet in hard-to-reach nests. This stinging insect killer will kill yellowjackets, wasps, and hornets on contact with botanical oils. It is water-based, so it will not leave an oily residue.

It is a minimum-risk product, EPA FIFRA 25(b) exempt products. With this exemption, it avoids notification requirements many school districts would have for harmful pest control applications.

Wasp and Hornet Treatment

Spray EcoVia WH Stinging Insect Killer at night, just before dawn or at night. Wasps and Hornets are less active and at rest in their nest during these times. Spray with the wind at your back and at a safe distance. Hold the can upright, and spray into the nest opening. Coat the nest opening for about 10 seconds, contacting as many wasps and hornets as possible. Repeat as needed. Paper wasp nests can be sprayed during the day at a safe distance from the nest.

Yellow Jacket Treatment

As with wasps and hornets, choose to spray at night, just before dawn or at dust to get rid of yellow jackets. Spray at a safe distance from the nest and with the wind at your back. With the can held in an upright position, aim the nozzle into the nest for about 8 seconds. If there are any yellow jackets on the outside of the nest, spray as many as possible. Look for all the yellow jacket openings, and spray them and repeat as needed. Yellow Jackets have multiple openings.
