FUSE Termiticide - A Unique Chemistry Combo

FUSE insecticide/termiticide uses a combination of active ingredients with various modes of action for an unique and effective product. This combined chemistry by Control Solutions uses two non-repellents, (Imidacloprid 21.4%) and (Fipronil 6.6%) for very effective termite and perimeter pest control applications. The active ingredient, imidacloprid is used in Dominion 2L and and the Fipronil is used in both Taurus SC and Termidor SC. It not only controls termites and ants, but a number of the outside perimeter pests.

FUSE Foam is an expanding foam with a 30:1 expansion ratio to foam into ant and termite nests and galleries and structural voids. When sprayed, FUSE Foam expands with an expansion ratio of 30:1, uses one oz of product in approximately 5 seconds producing about 1 quart of foam.

FUSE Termiticide (Non-Repellent)

FUSE is non-repellent; therefore, termites and other insects do not know that Fuse treatment is there. Pest readily enter a treated zone, picking up a lethal dose and in the case of social insects like termites and ants, sharing that dose with their nest mates. So there is a greater chance of taking out the entire colony, increasing your success. Independent studies show that FUSE as a non-repellent readily transfers from treated "donor" termites to their untreated "recipient" nest mates.

FUSE Yields

  • FUSE 27.5 yields between 50-100 gallons of finished solution, mixed between 0.3 oz -0.6 oz per gallon.

FUSE Insecticide -Perimeter Pest Applications - Why It Is Important

FUSE offers flexible exterior perimeter pest control application options as compared to products containing fipronil alone, such as Termidor or Taurus. FUSE may be applied as a perimeter treatment up to eight times a year. Applications permitted by the product label are based on the rate and spray swath chosen. Termidor and Taurus are limited to twice a year perimeter control spraying.

How FUSE works

Since FUSE has a combination of two different active ingredients, it has two different modes of action.

  • The Imidacloprid attacks the nervous system of insects by their nicotine acetylcholine receptors.
  • The Fipronil blocks GABA chloride channels (prevents chloride ions) that are needed in the insects nervous system.

Outside Patio Ants in FL
This product was recommended by a neighbor. We were getting ants on our back patio no matter how much my husband sprayed. Now, he uses Fuse and I haven’t seen one ant! Excellent product. Wish you had something for inside the house for Ghost Ants. I really dislike them. Hilly

Used for "crazy ants"
I'm in Central Texas, and we've been having a HUGE problem in the area with "Raspberry Crazy Ants". If you've never heard of them, these are not just your typical ant. They do not compete with each other, and they form multiple colonies that work together over acres - even miles - creating "supercolonies" of billions or trillions. There's barely an inch of ground you can step on where they won't start crawling on you. Regular fast-acting insecticide does nothing but make the problem worse - the more you kill, the more ants are produced. A slow-acting, non-repellant product is the only thing that has a chance. A local exterminator came out and applied Fipronil around the perimeter of the house; it helped control the ants around the house, but did nothing for them in the yard. He suggested I get a product containing either Fipronil or Imidacloprid - this product has both. It has worked great to get the ants under control; but it's a continuing battle, as they are everywhere. But all-in-all, this product has worked great to get them under control!

Best for Ants....PERIOD!
I am really anal about ants and bugs so, when we bought our home and noticed ants all around the house and some making their way inside, I bought an off-the-shelf product. Well, that worked for about a week the, the ants were back. After advice from a friend that uses this website for his pest control, I purchased Fuse. I used it one day, spraying the entire perimeter, windows and any areas where ants could get into the house and haven't seen one ant since. This was two months ago. I am now putting all my friends onto this website and this product.

Great for ants!
I live in SW Ohio. While cutting the grass one day, I noticed 2 large ant colonies in the yard with a large polulation of ants in each.

After receiving the fuse, I mixed it up at the lowest recommended concentration. I then sprayed the ant hills (drenching thoroughly) and surrounding areas, and ended up treating the entire perimeter of the house. The next day, I did not see a single ant around either ant hill. Two weeks later, still no activity at all. Works amazingly well.

received this product in the mail, and goodbye ants!
When I ordered this product I was skeptical, as I imagine most who have an ant infestation as severe as ours was. The day I received this product it in the mail, and goodbye ants. It was almost unbelievable, I never even opened the cap of the product. It was as if the ants saw the mail carrier delivering the insecticide and shit their pants in fear. That's right they packed everything and ran for the hills. I got up the next morning and made coffee. When I went to pour me a cup, I was expecting the usual of a mug full of ants, coffee is all that was in the cup. So I inspected the rest of the house, and to my amazement there were no more ants. By far the best product on the market!

Great For Ants
We had a major problem with "sugar ants," the tiny ones that show up all over your kitchen counters in droves. I sprayed outside the windows and around the perimeter of the foundation first. I did not really want to spray the Fuse in the house but located the ants streaming up our chimney in the attic and used the Fuse to spray around the brick on the chimney. The backside of our fireplace is the main wall in our kitchen so I carefully sprayed below the line of the countertop. The ants were around in diminishing quantities that night and the next morning they were gone. That was about a month ago and they still have not returned.

very good
I had pavement ants under my patio. they kept throwing the sand up through small holes between the pavers. I sprayed Fuse to find that the activity was reduced, and after the second spraying I see no more ant activity.

I had a carpenter ant problem. They were constantly walking around my pool deck and I knew their hive/nest was in a nearby tree. I first tried granules from the local home store. No effect. I then came to this site and purchased the carpenter ant baits in both solid and gel form. No effect. I had put the baits on the tree and areas of the deck where I would see them foraging for food. I even saw them come to eat the baits and carry them away. Still, this was not enough to kill the colony. I looked at the label of the ant bait and saw it was 0.006% fipronil and 99.9% inert ingredients. This led me to search for fipronil in higher concentration. When I saw the toxic dose of 6.6% Fipronil in this stuff, I just had to try. I mixed it according to the directions and sprayed it on the tree base where I knew they had to cross. Three days later there wasn't an ant in sight. This was two months ago and I haven't seen an ant since. Great stuff!
