  • Add On Options: For an Add on Option when purchasing Invade Hot Spot, you can add on the Invade Hot Spot 24" Hose Extension Actuator. at reduced cost when purchasing the Hot Spot. The addition is one extension per unit of Hot Spot.  For example, if you choose 2 Hot Spots, you will receive 2 extensions with this choice.  If you choose 12 Hot Spots and their extensions, you will get 13 all together (one is already included in the case of 12). If you want less extention actuators, give us a call to adjust the price and amount accordingly.
  • Since Hot Spot is an foaming aerosol, it can not be shipped by expedited choices, per air regulations.

Hot Spot Features

  • Invade Hot Spot-microbial-citrus foam in an easy-to-use 16 oz can
  • The 360-degree valve in Invade Hot Spot allows for dispensing in hard-to-reach areas.
  • InVade Hot Spot contains premium, organic matter-eating, odor eliminating microbes, citrus oil, and a foaming agent that works to eliminate the organic matter. The foam provides a longer contact time, coating scummy areas such as drain covers. Regular use of Hot Spot will address sanitation issues.
  • The foam will take a few hours to dissipate and should be left and not washed up. The foam will need to be in contact with the scum for at least one hour to be most effective. Do not apply directly to a food contact surface unless the surface is disinfected with a quaternary ammonia-type disinfectant after treatment.

How do I apply InVade Hot Spot ?

    • Select any crack, crevice, drain, or other scummy areas that present sanitation issues.
    • Shake can well.
    • Hold can with the nozzle pointing away from yourself and others.
    • Press down on the nozzle to dispense foam
    • InVade Bio Foam Hot Spot should not be applied on top of bait placements.

Specifications Microbial Blend:

The microbes used in InVade Bio products are a multiple-spore blend designed to provide exceptional performance over a wide range of organic waste-related applications. The strains were selected for their superior enzymatic activity over a wide range of organic substrates including proteins, carbohydrates, fats (grease), and cellulose. Their combined synergistic value is demonstrated in enhanced cell growth, germination rate and effectiveness. Spore-forming microbes are superior in that they are more resistant to chemical cleaning agents. While the bacteria can be killed by chemicals, the spores survive and can again produce bacterial colonies when conditions become favorable (e.g. the chemical is rinsed away). Spore-forming microbes will perform in both aerobic and anaerobic environments. When the spores come in contact with their food source (target organic matter), they generate bacterial colonies which digest the organic matter.

The spores consist of Bacillus strains (multiple) with no detectable Salmonella or Shigella. Strains are included which produce Lipase, Protease, Amylase, Cellulase, and Urease enzymes with aerobic and facultative anaerobic pathways. They are effective at a temperature range of 38-145°F. In laboratory tests, the microbe counts double in 20 minutes when in contact with their food sources. They will perform in a pH range of 4.5 to 8.5. They are stable for two years if stored in the range 35-95°F. In laboratory tests, the spores have been found to have 98% activity after freezing and rethawing.

a little slow but effective.
I was disappointed at first because it seemed to be ineffective after a week or so. When I called and talked to one of the technical guys they told me to be patient and let this stuff work. BINGO! About two weeks in it was as if someone flipped a switch and the flies vanished!
I highly recommend this product and this company!

Works great!
This product works great and is easy to use. 1 can goes a long ways. You have to stay on top of it though or the problem will keep coming back. Those pesky drain flies sure are some persistent little buggers. I have the solution now though, it's called Hot Spot !!!

No Luck
Tried three cans and no luck. Called and the guy told me that it takes a long time before it works. Used up the three cans as directed and the flies were still there. When to the Home Depot and bought some Zep Drain Care for $9.98 and did the drains for four days as directed and it worked Great. Kind of expensive for three cans anyway at $15.00.

I was confounded by these bad boys until I found DIY and Rockwell Labs. In my older house, I have about 6 drains and the result was instant and they stayed away. I know I have an issue to the sewer and they are coming from a subterranean location. After the prescribed initial treatment only 4 oz of the BioDrain in each drain a month did it. Now after a year of great performance, I am coming back to expand the elimination. I have every confidence that they will help me succeed in phase two.

I used this product in conjunction with the invade bio treatment and I have not seen any drain flies. I am now one happy camper

Couldn't be happier to find a product that does what it says it will do!
After a few applications of Hotspot in my basement drain, I'm no longer seeing sewer flies. I had been having a problem with them for over a year. So happy!!! Great product!!!

Instant Relief for Drain Flies!
For the past year we've had what I thought were clothes moths in our master bathroom. Put cedar blocks in my wife's closet, and in the ceiling vent fan, to no avail. Then I did an internet search on "bathroom moths" to find out they weren't moths at all, but rather drain flies. Ordered 2 cans of Hot Spot, and 2 applications later, NO MORE DRAIN FLIES IN THE BATHROOM!!! Fast shipping, easy application, and it took care of our problem. What's not to like?

Works Great !!!
After realizing we had a "drain fly" problem instead of a "fruit fly" problem i could finally go after the source. I ordered 3 cans and have used just over 1 can and our problem has come to an end. 1 can treated 6 drains many many times. It took a few weeks of multiple treatments but the nuisance is now gone. Great product and very easy to use!

It works!
Get at least four cans and use it for 10 days and then every other day for 5 more applications and then once a week. It works!
I do not work for these guys, but with two bathrooms, shower, three sinks, two bathtubs and a shower it is easy to go through two cans in 10 days.

Waste of money
Worthless. Problem keeps recurring within a few days/weeks

DIY Response: Sorry it's not working as you hoped. It is important to completely eliminate the breeding area for complete control. Call us at: 1-800-476-3368 and we'll help troubleshoot the environment.

Works for phorid flies!
The last couple of months i was bothered by these "gnats" which somehow did not go for my fruit but rather spoilage.I learned these pests were called phorid flies and they are hard to control I located their nesting source was my garbage disposal. I tried everything I could until I learned about hot spot.
I poured the foam in my drain every day for a week and saw they were getting fewer in number. I now use it once a week to insure no more flies. I have several cans to keep for future use. I am very pleased with this product.

A miracle!
I was trying to take care of drain flies on my own without much luck. This product was relatively expensive, but totally worth it and a little goes a long way. I was using a similar product, but without the foaming action and an inverted cup with vaseline smeared inside to catch flies over the drain. After switching to the foam, they were gone in 24 hours (1 application.) The label says to steam clean food surfaces, so I poured boiling water down the drain afterwards just in case. The label said this is also good for cleaning carpets with organic stains. Ironically, I just spilled something so trying that out now too.

Thank you for giving me back my sanity!!! :)
