JT Eaton Repeater Multiple Catch Mouse Traps

Walt Cline - Pest Control Professional Pro Tip: "Do's Place trap along the mice travel areas. That is along walls and edges. For best results place a glue board in there. That insures that the mouse will not figure out how to escape. I like to place a some mice fecal material inside the trap because mice like to be where mice have been. Don't put bait inside the station. This makes the mouse comfortable and they might figure out how to escape. "

JT Eaton Repeater Multiple Catch Mouse Traps( Solid #420 and Clear Top 420CL)

JT Eaton's Repeater Mouse Trap is a galvanized steel multi catch trap that catches up to 30 mice at a time, discreetly. It is a low profile trap that easily fits under pallets, equipment and furniture.

This mice trap is a standard in many industrial locations such as warehouses and loading docks as well as retail and home locations. This FDA and USDA approved trap is easy to inspect and clean. They provide excellent maintenance control in commercial establishments, such as restaurants, processing plants, storage rooms and all warehousing.

Repeater Mouse Trap Uses

  • If this Repeater Mouse Trap is used without a glue board, it is a humane trap. Simply open the lid and let the mice out.
  • Use JT Eaton's Glue Board, #166 if you want to catch the mice on a glue board for easy disposal. Using glue boards will expedite inspections and mouse removal. Inserted glue boards can save time and labor.

How to Place Repeater Mouse Trap

Place JT Eaton's Repeater Trap where mice activity has been noted. Also place this mulitple mice trap in potential areas where mice may enter (next to exterior doors). It is best to place it where the entry hole is parallel to the wall or object, but will also work if the entry hole is postitioned perpendicularly.

How Repeater Mouse Trap Works

The mice are curious and enter the entrance looking for harborage, once inside the trap they can not leave. A lure such as peanut butter may be used, but is not necessary.

Top Features

  • Compatible with 166 glue boards and has a solid steel lid
  • Catches and holds a maximum of 30 mice at one time with no bait needed
  • Low-profile design is perfect for discreet spaces, underneath furniture and equipment
  • Can be used in FDA and USDA inspected plants
  • Comes with a 1-year manufacturer's limited warranty

Trapping Tips

  • Put down a piece of newspaper about the size of half a sheet of notebook paper in an area where the mice have been active. Place some peanut butter or other food in the center and let the mice eat it. Now their smell will be in the newspaper, and it can be inserted into the trap to increase its attractiveness to the mice.
  • Another trick is to find some mouse droppings and place them in the trap. Always position the trap where both openings are close to a wall and hidden. Place it behind a piece of furniture or an appliance. It will make the mice feel much less vulnerable if the trap is not out in the open.

One thing that is common with new traps is that the hardest mouse to get into the trap is the first one. Once the smell of a mouse is in the trap, other mice will want to go in and investigate.

Highly recommend as a humane way to do rodent control.
This trap works great, and I now have four of them placed in different rooms of the house. You definitely want to buy the version that has the clear top, so you can see if you've caught a mouse. And I've had to pry the lid open a tiny bit wider on the sides to make it easier to open (a minor complaint). As mice are nocturnal, I check the traps before going to bed and again first thing in the morning, and I have been catching 2 to 4 mice a day and releasing them in the woods about 100 yds from the house. Mice are intelligent, social creatures, and while I don't want them living in my house, I get joy removing them and watching them scamper off when they discover their new freedom. One thing to watch out for: you can have a mouse hiding in the entrance chute of the trap and not see it. I've released a mouse and found there was a second one hiding in there, too. Look carefully for a tell tale tail!

I think the holes are too small
I have not caught any mice with this yet.

If you are trying to catch rats, these holes would be too small for the rat to enter

Pretty good multi catch trap
I have a barn with a serious mouse problem. I've tried the bucket traps and normal traps, repellers and everything. I am still using all of the above and I have 2 of these Eaton traps out. I regularly catch 1-2 mice in each trap, The most I've have at once was 6. I'm surprised if there's not one in the traps when I check them. I also gave 2 traps to a relative that was having issues in their garage. Over the past month I'd estimate I have caught close to 50 mice in the 2 traps. It has made a dent in the population in my barn.

Great Mouse Trap!!!!
We have had mouse problems for several weeks, mouse poop on our kitchen counter tops. Bought this trap, put half a cookie inside and went to bed.
Next morning I had 3 mice inside. No messy bloody single trap mess to deal with. Took them several miles away and let they free.

I support this trap 100%, it's a wonderful solution to mice that are a pain in the ass. BUY IT.

It Works - that's all I can say!
This is a nice simple, durable trap. I often caught 2 at a time, sometimes more than once a day. As long as you check it once a day, they will survive for release (if that is your plan, as it is mine). Must have caught 30 or 40 and then it seems we may have won the battle! Thanks.

It is true - bait is not really needed, especially after you've caught one or two, as they will poop and pee in the trap.

All metal construction is key - as I tried a trap from Home Depot made of plastic and they destroyed it in a few days.

They are excellent! Do put a little peanut butter and apple slices in there and you will have mice!
These work great! DO NO PUT GLUE BOARDS IN THEM! That is inhumane and stupid as it contradicts what these traps are made for. Do put peanut butter and apple slices inside so they have some food to munch on as they are transported to their new home and it attracts them into the trap!

Great product for it's purpose.
It took a week or so but i was very happy it caught a mouse even after i took the food out and i was able to release it with out killing it. Very humane is what i wanted. They seemed to like even the scent of peanut butter.
