Katana Turf Herbicide Application
Application Sites: Non-Residential Turfgrass
Rainfastness: 3-6 hours. If rainfall occurs within three hours of application on sensitive weeds or six hours of less sensitive or larger weeds, you may need to reapply Katana Herbicide.
Broadcast: As a broadcast treatment, Katana Turf Herbicide may be applied with a minimum of twenty gallons of water per acre. Where weed populations are dense or have adverse growing conditions (see label for use rates), higher spray volumes of 60-174 gallons of water per acre are recommended.
Spot treatment with Backpack Sprayers: Add one teaspoon of a non-ionic surfactant to 0.03-0.68 oz per gallon of water. Add the water first, and then dissolve Katana. Use 1 gallon per 1000 square feet. Retreat in 3-4 weeks for hard to control weeds (see label for specific rates).
