Lava-Lor Granular Bait
Lava-Lor combines two powerful active ingredients ( Hydramethylnon 1.0% and Imidacloprid 0.5%) as an improved insect granular bait for effective control of a broad-spectrum of insects. Lava-Lor granular treatment may be applied inside as well as outside and has a label for food handling/ processing sites. Lava-Lor Granular Bait controls a variety of insects, such as crickets, earwigs, fire brats, silverfish, nuisance ants (excluding carpenter, fire, harvester and pharaoh ants) and cockroaches (excludes American roaches).
Place this ready-to-use-granular bait in insect bait stations for increased protection. Lava-Lor is an ideal solution for insects in hard-to-reach areas and is approved for food handling and processing facility applications.. It has directions for perimeter and turf application treatments with no requirement to "water-In" the granular bait.

How Lava-Lor Works
The combination of active ingredients, kills the targeted insect after ingestion by acting as a metabolic inhibitor and attacking the nervous system.
- Hydramethylnon is an insecticide whose mode of action works as a metabolic inhibitor ultimately killing the targeted insect.
- Imidacloprid is a systemic insecticide whose mode of action is as a neonicotinoid that blocks the insect’s nervous system resulting in death.

| Application | Inside Application: Use 1/2 oz of Lava-Lor in cracks and crevices, voids or bait stations; per 1,000 sq ft, use up to 4-6 oz of bait. If areas are inaccessible to children or pets, you can lightly apply bait to floors near baseboards, under sinks, behind and under refrigerators and other appliances, drop ceilings, wall voids, electrical conduits, around drains, pipe chases, inside garbage cans or areas where there are insect infestation signs. Per 1,000 sq ft, scatter 4- 6 oz of bait. Broadcast Lava-Lor in basements, unfinished attics or crawlspaces. Replace bait for continued control. Outdoor Application: (Driveways, Sidewalks, around Patios and Foundations): At the rate of 4-6 oz of Lava-Lor per 1,000 square feet of infested area, apply bait evenly in a band 2 to 3 feet, taking care to treat any cracks or crevices. Also, treat beneath concrete drain splash pans. Turf Application: Use at the rate of 4-6 oz of Lava-Lor per 1,000 square feet or 10-15 lbs per acre. Use with the shaker container or mechanical spreader and apply bait evenly. The label states not to “water-in” the bait.
Mole Crickets: When treating mole crickets, it is best to water the area before treatment and apply the bait late in the day, since mole crickets feed after dusk. Sewer Application: at the rate of 1 oz per 100 square feet, apply Lava-Lor around manhole covers and on ledges inside sewers |
