Fastrac Blox

Packaging: 120 X 15 grams-(4 lbs of 15 gram blox form)

Fastrac Blox is a single feed bait weather resistant, a fast-acting acute, containing Bromethalin. Fastrac Blox from Bell laboratories is a quick and effective solution to controlling populations of rats and mice, especially Norway rats, Roof rats and House Mice. Fastrac is a small, rough, all-weather baiting blox with many gnawing edges.

Application Rate for Fastrac Blox

Rats: Place 2 to 10 bloxes (blocks) per placement (usually at intervals of 10 to 25 feet).
If you have a high population and a higher feeding, place out more bait.

Mice: Use 1 bait blox (block)per placement. Space placements at intervals of 6 to 10 feet in infested areas. If you have a high population and a higher feeding, place out more bait.

  • This bait does not have an antidote. It would be important to keep non-targeted animals away from this bait or use Tamper proof bait stations-rat size or tamper proof bait stations-mice size
  • Due to the stop-feed qualities of Fastrac, the placement quantities should be extremely small.
  • Secondary poisoning( e.g., a dog consuming the carcasses of rodents poisoned by Fastrac) does not readily occur with bromethalin.
  • Effective on both miceand rats, Fastrac kills in one to two days, even hours in some instances. Because rodents stop feeding after eating a lethal dose, more rodents can be controlled with less bait. The rat and mice may consume a lethal dose in a single feeding with first dead rodents appearing one or two days after bait consumption. Mice consume about 2-4 grams of food daily and rats consume 15-35 grams daily. On average, it takes 2.5 grams to kill a mouse, and 7-8 grams to kill a rat.
  • It is not an anticoagulant( interference of the blood coagulation process) but a non-anticoagulant, that attacks the central nervous system.
  • It is colored purple for easy identification and can be used in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.
  • The quick kill allows for a quicker solution to the rodent population. Anticoagulant baits
work on a delayed effect basis. A rodent feeding on an anticoagulant bait outside a food warehouse may continue to forage for another 3-7 days before the effects of the bait work.
  • Bell Laboratories synthesizes its own Bromethalin, and its the purest most consistent technical Bromethalin in the world.
This pure active along with Bell's advanced formulation means you'll see dramatic results in acceptance and effectiveness.
  • This all- weather bait blox has many gnawing edges and a hole through the center for placement on Bell's Protecta Bait station securing rods.
  • Fastrac Blox are available in 120 x 15 gram resealable pails.
  • These slender place pacs fit in the tightest baiting places.
Fastrac Place Pacs are available in 100 x 15 gram resealable pails for freshness and convenience.

This Protecta Mouse Bait Station features four prongs that hold four BLOX bait, indispensable for heavy mouse infestations. The triangular RTU Model does not have the prongs like the Protecta Mouse Bait Station.

Effective Mouse Control
We've used several style bait boxes and baits over the past two years. Previous baits relied on blood thinning. Had five bait boxes installed outdoors. Still caught one or two mice per week in indoor traps.

Recently installed Fastrac Bloxs and these bait boxes beside the older outdoor bait boxes. Bait box inspection indicates mice are eating the Fastrac baits. First week we caught one mouse in indoor traps. Past two weeks, no mice indoors.

Temperatures here have dropped dramatically. New Years Day was -14F. Not sure if reduced indoor activity is due to weather or effectiveness of Fastrac.

These bait boxes hold four Fastrac blocks. Previous boxes only held two bait blocks. Two blocks lasted two to three weeks. Fastrac blocks have been in place for three weeks. Approximately 70% of bait remains.

This had made a world of difference! !! No more mice in the house. About a week after putting them around our house we have not seen another one! Would definitely recommend this product!

Excellent product
Was exactly as advertised. Also, the voles appear to be gone -- at least for now. I'll be able to put out traps again if needed.

Works just as advertised
Tried everything, it all works to catch or kill a few, this product ended the mouse issue at our place. We live on 60 acres surrounded by corn/bean crops in Indiana.
Placed these units around the house, checked them every few days to insure that they were loaded with the good stuff. Once I noticed that there wasn't much being consumed, I went to the basement/crawlspace to insure that I didn't have any daylight shining in. To my surprise, I did have one spot near an old vent that appeared to be sealed but in fact had a small hole - it doesn't take much more than a pencil size hole to let them in.
I used the "Great Stuff" foam to fill. Since then I have found a few dead mice in the mulch around the house but haven't seen another one in the house. The trick is to insure that you keep the busiest boxes loaded.

works fast
just had a invasion of field mice. Icky, ick, ick.I didn't want to do traps . Wanted something that would work fast. Bought a package deal of 8 bait stations & gallon pail. Expensive but did the trick . Couple days later, nothing. No chewing ,no packages rustling nothing. And I have not smelled any dead mice. Thank goodness. That was a big concern. Very satisfied. Only drawback was price thats why 4 star instead of 5

Lost key
The stations work well but they only give you one key to open them. Lose it and you are up the creek.

DIY RESPONSE: We do sell replacement keys here: http://store.doyourownpestcontrol.com/keys-proteca-bait-stations . If you ever have an issue with a key please call us 1-800-476-3368

I live in PA where there are loads of mice. This kit worked plus I think
I got enough product for a couple of years. I thought the holes were
not large enough for mice but they went in there to eat and die.
