Moletox II with Zinc Phosphide has been a proven poison against moles. Moletox II uses cracked corn for great bait acceptance. It has a wax coating that makes it weather proof and it will last a long time in the ground. Moletox II is a ready-to-use poison bait for use against moles and pocket gophers in non-crop areas such as lawns and golf courses.. It also helps to protect bulbs at fall planting.

This is a product that really works for mole control. The user must pay attention in how to apply it to the runway otherwise you will not get the results you want. In the late summer months I do a yard walk every day in the morning looking for new signs of moles. I live next to a farm and mole control is a problem in my yard but again this stuff works very well.

Using multiple doses over the course of two or three weeks, this is very effective. Some people think they can put one dose in a tunnel and that should do it. Those people are wrong. This stuff only kills the moles that eat it. Two days after dosing, I stomp the tunnels down. If the tunnel come back up, or if new ones appear, I dose them immediately. And this is an ongoing maintenance issue. I keep at it throughout the summer when (and IF) a tunnel appears. No one ever permanently rids their lawn of moles unless they poison the entire lawn, which I will not do. This is safe, effective, and restricted to the moles and gophers (occasional chipmunk, too). The only moles I have now come in the early spring and they're gone for good by May.

  4. Moletox II -- another use

I recently ordered four of these because I first ordered from my local supply store who no longer carries it. I stumbled on to another use purely by accident. I thought I'd mix it with peanut butter (don't ask me why). Sat the container of it I'd mixed in my detached garage and something made me forget it was there. Forgot about the stuff in the garage. Went in there a few days later and found dead mice. I guess THEY like the stuff (if not moles). So, I've less of this vermin trying to get inside my home when it gets cold. I ordered more to keep putting it in my garage (no other animal can get in - well insulated but mice can squeeze into 1/2 inch opening - let 'em come in!).

I used the entire bottle in a 2500 sqft. lawn riddled with mole tunnels for a period of two weeks. Moles must have enjoyed it and continue to thrive!
