It worked well in my barnI have used these traps for years in the barn with my horse and cows. They start catching flies before I even get them hung up. They usually are full every couple of weeks. Either bait seems to work.
Not very effectiveI live in Georgia and I had a fly problem. I used the usual sticky tapes you unroll found in WalMart, and they worked ok, but made a mess. I saw these on DIYPC and thought I would give them a try. At first I noticed the fly's avoided them. I used both baits that were given and the fly's seemed to avoid them even more (as did we all, Whew, that liquid bait stinks!). I found a spot where the fly's all seemed to congregate so I put one of sticks there and the fly's did attract to them, or they accidentally did, not sure which. I noticed when fly was buzzing around me I would bring one of the traps up close to me, but the fly wasn't going near it.
So, my review is going to be a negative on these. They didn't work for me, but if you put them in a trash can then they will work.
