I don't know what that person was talking about as far as opening the station. I do this for a living and the ambush station is very easy to open. Also, I would like to point out that as long as the rodents are feeding on the bait they will die,

Bait station is very hard to open with key. mouse are eating the bait but didn't find any dead mice. Caught 1 mouse with 5 sticky pads
