Advion Roach Bait Gel

Walt Cline - Pest Control Professional Pro Tip: "Put pea size drops where ever you see their fecal material (looks like pepper). Remember to check under the silverware drawers. A flashlight is a must for inspection.
You will find if you use a growth regulator (Gentrol Point Source) you will be much more successful. Also check out Avert Dry Flowable. It can go in areas where Advion can not get to. It really works well.
Each box has one plunger, you can add on plungers, as well as Gentrol Point Source and Avert Dry Flowable at reduced pricing.

The Best Product It WORKS.
Advion is the best product and the only one that I have ever needed because it worked with the Gentrol didnt have roaches for at least 6 yrs. It flooded in our home and had to get out to get sheetrock put back in so it like starting all over again. I had alot of the product left but it got old and too hard to work the gel that is.

Like Crack to These Hardy SOBs
Having grown up in FL (including numerous long visits on the gulf), I knew I’d need some bait for my trip to Sanibel/Captiva. BUT ... before I left, I was in a hurry and bought the wrong gel to start with: gel bait for German roaches. When I arrived at the beach house, sure enough, roaches (even though the exterminator came the 2nd day after I’d arrived.) The roaches came out at night, INSIDE(!), when all the lamps were on. They came out from under the crown molding, and crawled down in between the grooves in the wood paneling. Before I could even grab my RAID can, they’d scurried back up into the molding, escaping through the paneling grooves. HORRIFYING! I could not sleep! When the Invictus didn’t work, I had the Advion gel bait fed-ex’d to me. Roaches at night on the wall w/the lights on? No way I could handle that. Advion quickly arrived (the DYOPC guys helped me determine I was NOT dealing w/German type, over the phone) and I put tiny little pea blurbs of Advion bait in every crack and crevice I could find — especially the gaps between the crown molding and the grooves in the paneling.

Never saw another roach again. Not one. I don’t know where they went — presumably back into the walls to share w/their friends — but they never showed themselves or their carcasses again.

Recently, I applied it between the planks of our backyard Vekka deck (PVC — not wood) on the cross boards supporting the wide planks. This was in daylight, shortly before noon, and I just put down pea-sized (or smaller) blurbs. (When grilling one night, I’d seen some tentacles poking up between the planks!) **Check your weather first before applying and try to confirm no rain is coming for a few days.

Some of the bait blurbs (I put them on almost every single cross board on the entire deck + stairs) were partially consumed even before I had finished the whole deck. This stuff is like crack for roaches. It’s now been three days (mercifully, with no rain) and 85% of the bait has been consumed. Haven’t seen any more tentacles, but I feel certain I had a big damn problem, based on the consumption rate.

Imagining how many of these SOBs are under my deck shivers me timbers, but Advion is getting them. Planning to call DYOPC tomorrow to see what follow-up should be done, to make sure I get them all.

HIGHLY recommend this product. Easy to apply & affordable. Worked instantly at the beach; used inside our house right after we moved in and never saw even roach #1; and on backyard deck, this bait has proved to be a huge success among its target constituents.

***Be sure to take this stuff w/you if you ever stay on the beach in FL; you’ll need it inside & on any outside decks. Exterminator sprays simply don’t work. Good luck, roach crushers!

I had been using a service.that I had signed a years contract with They would come, roaches would disappear and then right before the service was due to return the roaches would come back! How convenient!
Then I tried advion and never saw another roach!!
