Gladiator All Weather Bait Blox is a single feed bait with Bromethalin.01%, like the well known Fastrac Blox. A single feed bait only requires one feeding for a lethal dosage; death occurs within a couple of days. This particular Bromethalin bait in Gladiator has a reputation of good bait acceptance with an attractive lure to attract the rodents. Bromethalin works faster than other single feed baits. Compared to other rodenticides, a rodent doesn't need to eat a lot of Gladiator to receive a lethal dosage. It has a stop feeding feature, which saves you bait and money.Learn More

Fastrac Blox is a single feed, weather resistant and fast-acting acute rodent bait, containing Bromethalin. Fastrac Blox is used for controlling rodent populations in a quick and effective manner. Fastrac is a small, rough, all-weather baiting blox with many gnawing edges. Secondary poisoning ( e.g., a dog consuming the carcasses of rodents poisoned by Fastrac) does not readily occur with bromethalin.
Fastrac Blox is an excellent choice for mice, with good acceptance of the bait . Fastrac is also labeled for rats, but we are not seeing the same acceptance as we do with mice.Learn More
Another bait, "Take Down Soft Bait" , has the same active ingredient at Fastrac, but seems more appealing to the Norway and Roof rats. Another bait that is highly appealing to rats is Contrac Blox (different active ingredient). Make sure you always use tamper resistant rodent stations.

When using rodent baits, it is critical that you have a bait with high acceptance, which FirstStrike by Lipha Tech accomplishes. FirstStrike Rodent Bait is a soft bait that does well in rodent acceptance. It is especially useful when there are other food sources that would compete with a rodent bait. These soft pouches may be used on vertical or horizontal rods inside tamper-resistant bait stations and allow the enticing aroma to attract the rodents. First Strike Soft Bait with difethialone is a single feed bait, giving you quick results.Learn More
Which Mice Bait is Right For Me?
- If you just have a few mice the T1 station or JT Eaton's Refillable Bait Stations are perfect for the job. These mice baits are enclosed in a plastic station that a child or pet cannot get into, but the mice can. Each T1 mice bait station contains enough bait to kill 20 mice. After the mice are gone, simply throw this disposable station into the trash.
- In situations where mice are a chronic problem, Nectus Soft Bait, Final Soft Bait, Final bait blox, Fastrac blox or Contrac blox would be an excellent option. The soft baits have become increasingly popular in bait acceptance by both mice and rats.
Use mouse bait stations to hold the rodent bait to protect pets and children from the bait. Several protective bait stations are available that allows the mouse to feed but keeps larger animals out. Although mice do not need water they will drink it if available.
For situations where they will not take a bait because their other food cannot be eliminated (food or seed warehouses), Liqua Tox placed inside Helland stations will help reduce mice numbers.
If there are several mice on the property, traps should be used before baiting begins to reduce the population. There is no bait on the market that embalms the mouse. When an animal dies, it will smell for a while. The greater number of dead mice; the greater the smell will be.
Mouse Baiting Tips
Inspect For Mice Activity
After inspecting possible entry points, place bait in those areas. Also, place bait between any potential nesting areas and food sources. A mouse may run up on the bait along its travels.

Get Rid of Competing Food Sources
Get rid of all competing food sources. If there is exposed pet food or open food to offer as a mouse food source, chances are that mice would not even consider the mice bait as a food source.
Mouse Bait Placements
It is better having numeous small mouse bait placements than to have fewer large mouse bait placements. Generally speaking, space bait placements 8-12 feet apart, using more placements for heavier infestations. The larger the mice infestation, the more bait placements are required.
Since mice like to run along walls and borders, place mouse bait along the walls. Also, mice prefer traveling along corners of rooms and cabinet corners. They use their whiskers for tactile direction. Place mice bait in those areas.
Mice may live above or below their current food source. Consider baiting in such areas as suspended ceilings, attics, crawl spaces and basements.
Follow Up and Monitoring
After placing out the mouse bait, it is important to monitor and check the bait usage. If the bait is taken, place out more bait until all mouse activity as ceased.
If the bait is not taken, place it 5 feet in another direction in order to intersect another mouse pathway.
Mice Control will provide more information on getting rid of mice.
