Solitare Herbicide

Solitare Herbicide is a powerful selective post-emergent herbicide which controls broadleaf weeds, annual grasses, and sedges. It is labeled for control and suppression of over 60 weed varieties in both cool season and warm season grasses

Solitare Herbicide reduces the capability of weed reproduction for the current season. It also decreases weed populations in the seasons that follow by impacting the viability of the seeds. All of this is accomplished while providing an excellent margin of safety for desirable turfgrasses.

How Solitare Herbicide Works

The combined active ingredients, (sulfentrazone18.72% and quinclorac 56.25%), kill weeds systemically, from the inside out by disrupting photosynthesis. It is absorbed into the weeds through the roots and through the leaves giving complete kill of the roots and all.

Application Tips

  • Best weed control is achieved with adequate soil moisture. If no rainfall or irrigation occurs within 7 days after application of Solitare Herbicide in the amount of 0.5 inches, then irrigation of at least 0.5 inches is recommended.
  • Do not use a surfactant with this product.Temporary discoloration of some turf types has resulted with Solitare Herbicide and a surfactant mixed.
