Product Information

Surepyc Herbicide

Surepyc Herbicide with sulfentrazone 39.6% is a post-emergent herbicide that controls eight different sedges and 47 broadleaf weeds, including clover, chickweed, dandelions, and wild garlic. This fast-acting herbicide works quickly in as little as 24-48 hours. Surepyc Herbicide is a dual-action herbicide that is absorbed by the leaves and roots of target weeds.

Surepyc Herbicide can be applied to both cool- and warm-season turfgrasses, including Kentucky Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass, Tall and Fine Fescue, Bermudagrass, St. Augustinegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Seashore Paspalum

Restriction

  • Do not apply more than 12.0 fluid ounces (0.375 pound active) per acre of SUREPYC per twelve month period. The twelve month period is considered to begin upon the initial SUREPYC application.
  • DO NOT use on coarse soils classified as sand, which have less than 1% organic matter. Areas prone to contamination include:

  • Poorly draining or wet soils with readily visible slopes toward adjacent surfacewaters
  • Frequently flooded areas
  • Areas overlying extremely shallow groundwater
  • Areas with in-field canals or ditches that drain to surface water
  • Areas not separated from adjacent surface waters with vegetated filterstrips
