What is Qual-Pro T-Nex
T-Nex is an odorless microemulsion concentrate that is used for turf growth management. It helps by reducing growth and improves quality of your turf. Typically, treated turfgrass with Trinexapac-ethyl 12.0 % is a darker green than untreated grass. This darker green occurs because there is slower growing tissue, with an increased amount of chlorophyll in the leafs and a more compact leaf canopy. This darkening occurs 2-6 weeks after application. It takes about a week to start to see results.
Quali-Pro T-Nex Benefits
- T-Nex reduces the growth of warm-season and cool-season grasses, reducing your time with mowing.
- Increases the color, quality and density of turf, helping to give you durable blades. As vertical growth slows, energy is redirected to lateral stems and below ground plant parts.
- Helps turf withstand the seasonal stresses of disease, heat, etc. Will encourage a healthier plant able to improve stress survival when there is stressful condtions
- It also minimizes the need for edging of turfgrass along sidewalks, curbs, parking lots, driveways, flower beds, fences and around posts, storage sheds and trees.
- Quali-Pro T-Nex will not wash off with rain after 3 hours of application.
How does T-Nex work?
Inhibits the biosynthesis of a phytohormone that promotes growth. It is absorbed through the grass foliage and not by plant uptake through the soil.
When to apply Quali-Pro T-Nex
Apply to actively growing turf. Use the lower rate in situations when turf is going dormant due to high or low temperatures, or lack of moisture.
