Turflon Ester Ultra Specialty Herbicide
Turflon Ester Ultra, with Triclopyr (60.45%) is a specialty herbicide. As a post-emergent herbicide, it controls a broad range of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and kikuyugrass that have emerged and are active in tall fescue, perennial bluegrass, or perennial ryegrass. It controls such hard to control weeds as oxalis, wild violet, spurge, clover, ground ivy, dandelion, plantain, and lespedeza. Turflon Ester provides a reduced environmental impact with its plant-derived solvent, instead of using a petroleum solvent; reducing VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions. This formulation with a methylated seed oil solvent has a reduced odor.
For an economical alternative, with (Triclopyr 61.6 %), try Clear Pasture.

Turflon Ester Ultra Applications-Broadcast and Spot Treatments
During warm weather (early spring through fall months) and when weeds are actively growing, apply Turflon as a foliage spray. Rates call from 1/2- 1 quart per acre of Turflon Ester Ultra mixed with enough water to control emerged and actively growing broadleaf weeds in perennial ryegrass, perennial bluegrass, or tall fescue. Repeat treatments (3-4 extra treatments) at 4-week intervals may be required for bermudagrass suppression and allow other desired turfgrasses to dominate. Repeat treatments may be needed.
