Apply Spike 20P at a rate of 3/8 oz per 100 sq ft (equivalent broadcast rate = 10 lb/acre) in areas receiving less than 20 inches of annual rainfall.
Apply Spike 20P at a rate of 3/4 oz per 100 sq ft (equivalent broadcast rate = 20 lb/acre) in areas receiving more than 20 inches of annual rainfall.
Non-Cropland:
Apply Spike 20P at a rate of 3/8 oz to 1 1/8 oz per 100 sq ft (equivalent broadcast rate = 10 to 30 lb/acre).
How Spike 20P Works
After shrubs and trees are treated, the leafs exhibit chlorosis and browning followed by defoliation. Before death occurs, woody plants may go through several defoliation cycles.
