1. Add the bait Formula FC2 bait packet provided to one quart of water(lukewarm).
2. Add a pinch of soil to the mixture. This addition speeds up the activation in both warm and cool climates.
3. Hang trap at least 30 feet away from the area you want to protect (such as your home or structure) in sunlight and about 5 feet off the ground. The sun's natural warmth activates the bait and gets the scent airborne

These traps are to be used in sunlight, not indoors or under a roof. Extreme hot sunlight may be too strong for the lure. The ideal placement would be in indirect sunlight, such as under the branches of a tree.
