InVict AB Insect Paste

Walt Cline - Pest Control Professional Pro Tip: "Invict AB Paste has the advantage of working on three of our most common insect pests. Invict AB Paste works well on most ants, (not carpenter ants), german roaches, and silverfish. It is not quite as fast of a killer as other insect baits, but for certain insects that is a good thing. Since it might take as long as a day to kill a german roach the roach will eat more. This means is that the Invict AB Paste will effect the nymphs (babies). To learn more about that give us a call."

Abamectin is produced in a fermentation process, a naturally occuring process making Invict Insect Paste a green product.
Application: Results will be best if spilled food and other debris are cleaned up before applying bait. Apply bait in small spots about ¼" in diameter. Bait can also be applied in thin lines, or films if appropriate.
 For Roaches:
Applications should range from 10 to 20 spots per 100 square feet.
 For Ants:

Porches, garages, sheds, AC units and other outbuildings, fences or walls may also need treatment. Pay particular attention to cracks where insects may enter buildings and treat those areas.

Amazed
Wow! This product really works! Almost resorted to an exterminator because we had these common house ants infesting our kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms! Sprayed around the outside of the house with the standard topical insecticide and this seemed to work for outside but the ants remained inside. It was so bad, food could not be set down for a minute without invasion of some sort. The thing was, we didn't want to get toxic chemicals sprayed around the inside of the house and I just generally feel pest control services are a rip-off, so after some online research, I ordered Invict. It arrived in three days and I put the syringe-loaded brown paste down in one inch lines in the established ant traffic lanes. I watched and saw many ants were passing it by and a day later there was no real difference. But then on day two ants that had been all over our bed at night appeared on my nightstand in a panicked horde. Then I saw the queen appear with them! I ended her reign with my finger, but it was all over at that point anyway. The next day all the ants disappeared from the house. It's been three weeks now and the colony or colonies seem to be fully eradicated. This product blows away all the store bought poison traps and such. And I only used part of one tube! (7 total). Fantastic performance and value! Never thought insect infestations could be so easily and completely eliminated.

It Worked!
This is the second time within the last few years I needed an exterminator. The first time was when someone brought roaches to my house. I had a 100% success in getting rid of them.

As of recent we had an army of little ants invade our living room ceiling beams. At first I thought they were termites. I immediately went to this website and read up on termites and ants. I determined it was indeed ants and purchased this product. They shipped it very quickly and as soon as I received it, I immediately applied. I noticed an immediate decrease within 24 hours. It took about 3 applications and 1 week to be fully rid of them. They are completely gone. I love this company and am so grateful I found it. I give this product 5 full stars and thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

This stuff works
We tried 2 trips with "Professional" exterminators and the "sugar ants" went away for a few days and came back.

I followed the directions and now a month later, still no ants.

Excellent
Have used this product with excellent results. Spraying failed to get the results that one application of this product produced.

Took a while but it did work
I used this on pavement ants. They had invaded my kitchen. It knocked them down 50% with one treatment inside and out, but they did keep coming back. After a couple weeks of persistent small applications right in the corners of my kitchen counter where they liked to travel, they finally disappeared altogether. IT's been two weeks and no sight of them. I kinda miss the little critters. I still have 1 1/2 tubes left.

Works great.
AB Insect Paste works great. Using a small amount on a regular basis keeps the ants under control all season. After our usual spring invasion, we are again ant-free.

ants gone in 12 hours!
Spring arrived, and the ants woke up. I tried to identify them, and narrowed it down to two possible types (I forget what now), but decided to get InVict in case I was wrong. That way I could target all types and have more for possible future invasions of other types. i live in Missouri, so at this point I don't have what I assume are extremely hardy tropical ants as some Florida reviewers mentioned.

When my InVict arrived, I observed the ant trail on the outside of my home and squished some in a few places along their trail and near their entry point their apparent nest in my walls. I applied the paste in the late afternoon. Within minutes they were feeding to enthusiastically, I thought they were dead on the paste. The next morning, not a single ant inside or outside. It's been about a month, and still no ants inside!

In the fall, I had an exterminator come for much more money then this paste, but that's where I learned what I should do, so I suppose it was worth it. AFTER he sprayed a repellent around the OUTSIDE of my home, he told me that ants make nests in the walls. So I'm thinking that this exterior repellent will now repel them INSIDE, and the problem will get worse. And indeed, that is EXACTLY what happened. The exterminator returned and squirted some poison around, and the ants did decline a bit, but never all that much. There was not a clear ant trail at that point like the one I saw outside.

Bottom line, I saved money and solved my problem. When the ants move back in some day, I know what to do!

This is a Waste of Your Money
The crazy/ghost ants crawled right over this stuff. They didn't even take a second look let alone take some back to heir nest. It's useless.

Works great
I live in Florida on the second story of a 2 story condo. Every summer it seems I get invaded by ghost ants when the rains come. I tried 2 brands of ant bait I bought locally that only helped short term, the ants would disappear for a day, then be back.

I placed small amounts of Invict AB Paste along the ant trail I could follow from different to one of the doors. Within a couple days no ants at all and they stayed gone. Plus like others have pointed out, a little goes a long way.

I also ended up giving away 3 tubes to different friends who had ant problems and both reported it worked great at getting rid of the ants they had. Would recommend Invict AB Insect Paste to anyone with an ant problem.

Didn't work for my odorous ants
I had a problem where my odorous ants couldn't eat my protein baits when they are in their protein cycle and I had run out of sweet bait and wanted to try something that could do double duty. Unfortunately, they snacked on some the first day but thereafter they just ignore it completely.

Cleanup is pretty easy compared to other tube poisons I've used because it doesn't dry up.

I don't think I have roaches, so I don't know how this does on them, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt hence 2 stars, plus one for the cleanup. But overall I'm disappointed.

Ants are gone!
At the end of rope after spending a solid year paying our exterminating company to treat for all the pharoh ants that kept popping up everywhere in our home, I stumbled on this website & ordered the InVict Insect Paste. Wow, does this stuff work well! Within 24 hrs of putting out 3 bait stations with the InVict inside, all ants were gone from each area treated! It also kills roaches, which is a great thing when you live in Florida! No more exterminating company for us!

Exceptional Product
I have had an increasing problem with odorous house ants for the past ten years. Professional extermination only split the colonies and made my problem worse. I mixed boric acid with jelly and that worked great ... while the ants were in their sweet cycle, but not at all the rest of the time. I ordered Invict paste and have been SO pleased. I find that if I put it out without seeing ants that it will dry up and that they will then often ignore it. But if I put it out when and where I see the ants ... they swarm to it, take it away and also die on the spot shortly ... and although I've used almost all five tubes ... over the past three months I've gone from ants EVERYWHERE to hardly ever seeing one. I am ordering another box just to be on the safe side, but we are ant free now in a home I considered at one time abandoning because of the ants. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Works like a charm, no more ants!!
Once again, DIYPC saves the day for my family!! This stuff is expensive, but a little goes a long way and it really wipes the ants out quickly. The Bifen IT worked for a bit, but the ants returned (BTW, check out my Bifen IT review from a few months ago if you have wasps, fleas, ticks, etc. problems, the wasps are still missing in action!!). Since I ordered and set out the InVict a few months ago, we have only seen one or two ants, and I think those came in on some homegrown vegetables myself. Gave a tube to our church for ant control there, as well as my nephew a nearly used tube to put under his car's kick panels for some ants he had bedding in his car. The product worked just as advertised, no more ants and fast.

I did an experiment on 2 of the outside ant mounds we had, and after disturbing the mounds and getting the ants riled up, dropped just a little InVict on each. Within 2 days there were no signs of a single ants and the mounds were drying up.

So this stuff is worth the investment if you can't stand ants taking over your home, trust me. Also, I just ordered another quart of Bifen IT for fleas and ticks because I guess with the record heat the fleas have exploded on our property and are driving my beautiful dogs crazy, but Ken and DIYPC always have just the thing for me to wipe them out. Thank you again.
