The slender place pacs can be used in bait stations along rodent runways and in hard-to-reach locations. Pacs can be opened , and loose pellets poured down burrows.

Fastrac Place Pack Pellet Features

  • It is colored purple for easy identification and can be used in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.
  • The quick kill allows for a quicker solution to the rodent population. Anticoagulant baits work on a delayed effect basis. A rodent feeding on an anticoagulant bait outside a food warehouse may continue to forage for another 3-7 days before the effects of the bait work.
  • Fastest acting rodenticide; kills mice or rats in one to two days.
  • Stop Feed Action -Allows more kills with less bait
  • Bromethalin Active - A non-anticoagulant highly effective on rodents.
  • No tolerance or resistance.
  • Bait shyness is not associated with Fastrac.
  • Effective on both mice and rats, new Fastrac kills in one to two days, even hours in some instances. Mice consume about 2-4 grams of food daily, and rats consume 15-35 grams daily. On average, it takes 2.5 grams to kill a mouse, and 7-8 grams to kill a rat.
  • The manufacturer, Bell Laboratories synthesizes its own Bromethalin. It is the purest and most consistent technical Bromethalin in the world. This pure active along with Bell's advanced formulation means you'll see dramatic results in acceptance and effectiveness.

Caution with Fastrac Pellets

This bait does not have an antidote.

It would be important to keep non-targeted animals away from this bait or use.

Tamper-resistant bait stations are suggested. Use Ambush Bait Stations/a> for rats or Protecta Mouse Bait Stationsfor mice.

Fastrac Pellets and Secondary Poisoning

Secondary poisoning(e.g., a dog consuming the carcasses of rodents poisoned by Fastrac) does not readily occur with bromethalin. It is not an anticoagulant (interference of the blood coagulation process) but a non-anticoagulant, that attacks the central nervous system.

Application for Fastrac Place Paks : Pellets

Rats: Apply 2 to 12 Fastrac place pacs per placement (usually at intervals of 15 to 30 feet). If you have a high population and a higher feeding, place out more bait.

Mice: Apply 1 place pack per bait placement. Space placements at intervals of 8 to 12 feet in infested areas. If you have a high population and a higher feeding, place out more bait.

Very effective product!
After dealing with stubborn rats that would not eat block bait that was set out in bait boxes I decided to try the FASTRAC PELLETS. Boy am I ever glad I did. The rats gobbled up these pellets and within a week the problem was gone! I did place the pellets down in the burrow, and I believe that made all the difference. I had been battling these pesky critters for a couple of months, so needless to say I was amazed at the effectiveness. I have much more of this product than I will ever need to use (I hope) but I'm glad to have it on hand. I hated to purchase the large quantity but the price was a lot cheaper than hiring an exterminator.

Better than the pros
We had a STRONG rat problem, and mice were adding to the mix to spice things up. We called professional exterminators, paid hundreds of dollars, and month later .... they grew in numbers! So, I decided to order this and within 3 days I had effectively killed out our entire neighborhoods rat population. IT. WAS. AWESOME! Product as stated, you don't need to use much at all and the rats go back home and die. No clean up required. Highly recommended.

Good
Have used this exact product for years in a self-storage facility. I keep re-ordering because it works and it is neat and clean. The fact that rats/mice wander off somewhere else to die is a very real plus .

Not good enough
Didn't see the effect. However, the glue traps work much better for me as I can see mice getting caught. With bait blocks/pellets, I didn't notice many dead mice lying around.

***********************
DIY RESPONSE: People often prefer glue traps and snap traps because they can see the dead mouse. With baits the rodent will often return to its nesting area while is dying so it is difficult to see the evidence. That does not mean that the bait did not work, it typically means you won't see the dead rodent.

works really well
Yep, it kills them dead. Used them one day, rats were dead the next. I didn't need to use the entire order, so I have many packets left over in case they return, and yes, they'll return.
